SUKKUR : On the directives of Sukkur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Azhar Khan, Sukkur Police continued its crackdown against social evils and individuals allegedly involved in immoral and unlawful activities.

In a raid based on secret information, police from Abad Police Station allegedly raided a premises being used for prostitution and immoral activities and arrested five suspects, including three women.

According to police, the SHO of Abad Police Station, accompanied by female police personnel, conducted the raid after receiving confidential information regarding alleged immoral activities within the police station’s jurisdiction.

During the operation, five individuals were taken into custody, including two men and three women. Police identified the arrested suspects as Muhammad Khurrez, Muhammad Shoaib, Ms. Rimsha, Ms. Saba and Ms. Sidra.

Police said a case had been registered against the arrested individuals at Abad Police Station under relevant provisions concerning obscene acts and prostitution.

According to the police record, FIR No. 184/2026 has been registered under Section 294 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) at Abad Police Station, while further legal proceedings are underway.

On the occasion, SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan said that immoral and socially harmful activities would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said indiscriminate action against such elements would continue to ensure law and order and provide citizens with a safe and better environment.

Police officials said operations against social evils would be further intensified and strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating the law.
