According to details, the accident occurred within the jurisdiction of Ali Masjid Police Station. Sources said the victims had travelled to Jamrud to attend a programme and worked as traditional drum players.

One of the dead persons was later identified as Mohammad Yasin, son of Mohammad Nasir, who is a resident of Peshawar.

Soon after receiving the report, Rescue 1122 medical teams rushed to the spot, and the bodies were shifted to Jamrud Civil Hospital, where the families arrived and identified their loved ones.
