Three people, including a woman, died, and seven became seriously injured when the driver of their car lost control, and the vehicle fell into a ravine in Swat due to brakes failure on Friday.
The accident occurred in Manglore Shaldara. Sources said that ten people, including women and children, were in the car.
After receiving the report, the Rescue 1122 team reached the site of the incident and shifted the four critically injured persons to Central Hospital in Saidu Sharif, and three children were shifted to Manglore Hospital.
Earlier in June 2026, three people were killed in a collision between a passenger bus and a car in the Gogdara area of Swat district
Police said the collision caused the death of three people who were traveling in the car.
The tragic accident was caused by overspeeding, police said, adding that the bodies of the deceased were shifted to Saidu Hospital for further procedures.
