Sukkur : Like other parts of the country, Independence Day celebrations are continuing with enthusiasm in Sukkur. In this connection, a dignified cake-cutting ceremony and tree plantation campaign were organized at the SITE Area Sukkur under the hosting of SITE Area Engineer Abdul Karim Malano.
Assistant Commissioner New Sukkur Bushra Mansoor, Town Chairman Tariq Chohan, Continental Biscuits Limited’s Col. (Retd.) Shahid Bashir, Pepsi Company’s Col. Shaukat Khan, Reema Ghee Mills Managing Director Ajay Kumar, Irfan Suman, Hafeezullah Waseer, Abdul Aziz Bugti, and Mehmood Ali Shah, along with other distinguished personalities, attended the ceremony.
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, a cake was cut to mark the occasion. Assistant Commissioner Bushra Mansoor and Col. (Retd.) Shahid Bashir jointly planted a sapling, formally participating in the tree plantation campaign.
General Secretary of Sukkur National Press Club (Registered) Agha Yawar and Information Secretary Danish Rajput also attended the ceremony.
On the occasion, the participants expressed their best wishes for the security, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan. They reaffirmed their commitment to celebrating Independence Day with national spirit, enthusiasm, and patriotic zeal.
The ceremony highlighted the importance of patriotism, environmental protection, and collective efforts for the development and prosperity of the country.
