Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna were involved in a minor accident while returning home from the airport in Mumbai.
According to media reports, the couple had returned to Mumbai from abroad on Monday evening, and while heading home, their car and security convoy were struck by an out-of-control auto rickshaw. The rickshaw, hit by a speeding Mercedes, first collided with the security vehicle and then struck Akshay and Twinkle’s car.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic and frightening, with the auto rickshaw and its passenger temporarily trapped under the vehicles. Thankfully, Akshay, Twinkle, and their team quickly assisted the individuals involved, and everyone emerged unharmed.
The accident occurred near Juhu, one of Mumbai’s well-known neighborhoods, and fortunately, no one was injured.
The couple had been traveling abroad to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, and the incident happened during their return journey.
