West Bank: Tensions escalated as Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the West Bank, resulting in four injuries and significant property damage. According to Israeli media, extremists set fire to eight houses and two vehicles during the attacks. Videos of the assaults have circulated and were broadcast by Israeli outlets.

Official Acknowledgment

The Israeli military (IDF) acknowledged the occurrence of these Jewish nationalist attacks, confirming the events.

Rising Incidents of Settler Violence

Israeli statistics show that in 2025, over 750 incidents of settler violence and nationalist crimes against Palestinians were reported. For comparison, in 2024, settlers carried out 675 attacks on Palestinian communities.

Legal action against extremist settlers is rare, as the current Israeli government has been criticized for overlooking attacks on Palestinians. Media reports indicate that attacks are often ignored by Prime Minister Netanyahu and National Security Advisor Ben Gvir, contributing to a climate of impunity.

Investigations into settler attacks have also declined by 73 percent, according to official figures, raising concerns about justice and protection for Palestinian residents.
