MIRPURKHAS: Three suspects arrested in connection with the Suaira Laghari murder case — Irfan Ghouri, Imran Ghouri and Munir Rajput — were produced before the court of Civil, Family and Judicial Magistrate Maryam Saba.
The police requested the court to grant 14 days of physical remand of all three suspects for further investigation. After hearing the police’s request, the court handed the three suspects over to police custody on a two-day physical remand.
During the hearing, the investigation officer also presented the pistol allegedly used in the incident before the court as evidence.
According to police, further investigation and questioning of the suspects will be conducted during their physical remand. After completion of the two-day remand, the three suspects will be produced before the court again for further proceedings.
