In Kuwait, two Indian citizens have been sentenced to death for the crime of drug smuggling.
According to Arab media, a criminal court in Kuwait handed down the death penalty to two Indian nationals for smuggling a large quantity of narcotics.
The report stated that both individuals were arrested in the Kaifan and Shuwaikh areas of Kuwait, where authorities recovered 14 kilograms of heroin and 8 kilograms of methamphetamine, along with two electronic weighing scales.
The verdict was delivered by the criminal court, where the prosecution proved that the accused were members of an international drug smuggling network operating from outside Kuwait.
