Samaro Residents and citizens staged a protest outside the Samaro Press Club against the alleged opening of a liquor shop, locally known as a “gato,” near Paper Mori in Meghwar Colony.
The protesters carried placards and raised slogans demanding the immediate closure of the alleged liquor shop. They expressed concern that its presence could negatively affect the social environment and peace of the area.
Speaking to the media, protest leaders warned that if the alleged liquor shop was not removed from the village, they would expand their protest and hold demonstrations across the district.
The protesters urged the local administration to take immediate notice of the concerns raised by residents and take necessary action to close the alleged liquor shop.
