Under the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range, Mr. Tariq Razaq Khan Dhari, and under the leadership of SSP Hyderabad, Mr. Adil Hussain Chandio, Hyderabad Police conducted a series of targeted operations across the city, resulting in the arrest of five fugitives and the recovery of prohibited substances, including gutka, alcohol, and cannabis. These operations demonstrate the continued commitment of Hyderabad Police to maintaining law and order and curbing the circulation of illegal drugs and intoxicants.
Market Police Operations:
In two separate operations carried out by the Market Police, suspect Suhail Ahmed Gaju was apprehended. During the search, 38 bottles of liquor were recovered from his possession. A case has been registered against him under Crime No. 01/2026 under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prohibition Ordinance.
In a second operation, suspect Raju Kachi Kolhi was arrested, and authorities recovered 20 packets of prohibited gutka from his possession. A case has been registered under Crime No. 03/2026 under Section 8 of the Gutka and Minipuri Act.
CP Paban Operation:
Paban Police conducted a raid and arrested Muhammad Amin Baber, a suspected narcotics supplier. Officers recovered 1 kilogram and 6 grams of cannabis from his possession. He has been booked under Crime No. 1/2026 in accordance with Section 9(1) and 3(C) of the Narcotics Act.
Baldia Police Operation:
A joint operation by the CIA and Baldia Police led to the arrest of suspect Amjad Siddiqui. Authorities recovered 1 kilogram and 540 grams of cannabis from him. Additionally, one rickshaw of unknown registration was seized from his possession and taken into police custody. A case has been registered under Crime No. 1/2026 under Sections 9(1) and 3(C) of the Narcotics Act.
Tando Jam Police Operation:
Tando Jam Police arrested suspect Gulshir Rajput during an anti-intoxicant operation. Officers recovered 10 liters of unprocessed alcohol from the suspect. A case has been registered under Crime No. 1/2026 under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prohibition Ordinance.
