Matiari (Reporter: Zubair Ahmed Kalhoro): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) District Matiari and Sindh United Party (SUP) jointly held a protest demonstration in Matiari under the slogan “Save the Constitution, Save Democracy, Save Pakistan,” raising slogans against the government.

The protest was organized outside the City Press Club Matiari under the leadership of PTI and SUP leaders, including Advocate Gulzar Khaskheli, Shahzad Baloch, Advocate Ghulam Nabi Tagar, Dost Ali Sheikh, Arshad Akhund, Dodo Deshi, and others.

Addressing the demonstration, the leaders claimed that important ministers of Pakistan had admitted that the country’s system was facing serious challenges. They said Pakistan could not progress unless constitutional supremacy, rule of law, and democratic decision-making were ensured.

The leaders demanded the release of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other political prisoners, and called for allowing political activities in a free and democratic environment.

They also expressed concerns over what they described as controversial canals, administrative units, and provincial divisions, stating that such steps could create instability in the country. They said that conditions in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir were already challenging, and attempts to divide Sindh would further worsen the situation.

The protesters declared that Sindh is united and any attempt to divide the province would never succeed. They called for protection of democratic values, constitutional rights, and national unity.
