Karachi: The price of gold witnessed a significant increase in Pakistan, with the rate of one tola gold rising by Rs10,000, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
Following the latest increase, the price of one tola gold reached Rs437,936 across the country.
The association further stated that the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs8,573, after which the price stood at Rs375,459.
The surge in gold prices comes amid fluctuations in international markets and changes in local demand and supply conditions. The continuous rise in gold rates has also affected consumers and the jewellery sector across Pakistan.
