Matiari: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) district Matiari’s religious speaker and well-known preacher Maulana Asadullah Khuhro has said that Sindh has existed for centuries and will continue to remain united.
Speaking to the media in Matiari, Maulana Khuhro said, “Sindh is not a bakery cake that can be cut into pieces with a knife.” He stated that those who are talking about dividing Sindh would themselves face division.
He said that the clear stance of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is that Sindh would not be allowed to be divided under any circumstances. He added that if needed, millions of people of Sindh would come out on the streets to protect the unity of the province.
Maulana Khuhro urged the rulers to stop what he described as interference in the affairs of Sindh and said that efforts should be made to unite the people of Pakistan rather than create divisions among them.
On the occasion, JUI Business Forum District Matiari President Sahib Dino Wariah and JUI Hala spokesperson Masood Asadullah Khuhro were also present.
