Larkana (Report: Zaheer Abro): Police in Larkana have claimed to have arrested six alleged criminals in an injured condition during three separate encounters at different locations across the district.
According to SSP Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry, weapons, mobile phones allegedly snatched from citizens, and motorcycles were recovered from the arrested suspects. Police stated that two suspects, identified as Imran Khokhar and Ghulam Mustafa Bhutto Lashari, were arrested in an injured condition during an encounter within the jurisdiction of Naudero Police Station.
Police further said that two other suspects, Jameel alias Azhar Junejo and Mir alias Major Khokhar, were arrested during an encounter in the limits of Waleed Police Station. Meanwhile, suspects Hasnain Raza Channa and Farman Khokhar were also arrested in an injured condition during an encounter within the jurisdiction of Civil Lines Police Station.
SSP Ahmed Chaudhry said that the recovered mobile phones had allegedly been snatched from various citizens, while the arrested suspects were wanted in several cases involving robbery, theft, and other serious crimes in Larkana city and surrounding areas.
He added that police teams are continuing search operations to arrest other suspects who managed to escape from the scene during the encounters.
