SSP Hyderabad Shahzaib Chachar visited the routes of the central Chehlum procession of Imam Hussain (RA), which started from Qadam Gah Maula Ali (RA), and reviewed the security arrangements in detail.
During the visit, the SSP inspected various security points along the procession route and issued necessary instructions to officers and personnel deployed for security duties. He emphasized further improving security measures to ensure a peaceful environment.
On the occasion, SP Headquarters Zain Raza Baloch, DSP Cantt Paras Bukrani, DSP Hussainabad Akbar Lund, DSP Baldia Zahoor Ahmed Soomro, DSP Site Sanobar Khoso, DIB Incharge Inspector Faheem Fateh, along with SHOs and other police officials, were also present.
Under the leadership of SSP Hyderabad Shahzaib Chachar, more than 1,600 police officers and personnel are performing security duties for the central Chehlum procession.
In addition, all RRF (Rapid Response Force) in-charges have been deployed along designated routes to ensure the security of pilgrims arriving from different districts on the occasion of Chehlum and Arbaeen.
Snipers have also been positioned at rooftops at different locations, while walk-through gates have been installed at entry and exit points of the procession.
A special control room has been established at Cantt Police Station for complete monitoring of the central procession. Through more than 200 cameras, including the Safe City Project system, continuous surveillance of the procession routes and surrounding areas is being carried out.
The central Chehlum procession of Imam Hussain (RA) has started from Qadam Gah Maula Ali (RA) and is proceeding towards its destination through its designated routes.
