Karachi: Frere Police have carried out a successful operation, arresting two suspects involved in armed robberies and motorcycle lifting in the Delhi Colony area.
The arrested individuals, Mohammad Shah Mir son of Mohammad Rais Shamsi and Asad son of Abbas, were reportedly involved in snatching and motorcycle theft cases under the threat of weapons. During the operation, police recovered an illegal pistol with one round of ammunition and a stolen motorcycle from their possession.
The stolen motorcycle has been registered under FIR No. 838/2025, Section 381-A, PS Preedy. It is noteworthy that Asad son of Abbas has a prior criminal record and had previously been arrested under FIR No. 86/2024, Section 381-A, PS Frere.
Further investigations are ongoing, and the suspects have been handed over to the Investigation Branch for detailed inquiry and legal proceedings.
