Hyderabad: Chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority, Dr. Sher Mehrani, met with Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah in Hyderabad.
During the meeting, Dr. Sher Mehrani briefed the provincial minister about the ongoing projects of the authority. He said that the institution is making continuous efforts for the promotion and development of the Sindhi language.
He informed the minister that the authority has established Sindhi learning centers in seven cities across the country, which are producing positive results. He added that new books are also being published to further promote Sindhi language at different levels.
Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah expressed satisfaction over the projects being carried out by the Sindhi Language Authority and appreciated the performance of the chairman.
He directed that all ongoing projects of the authority should continue so that positive results can be achieved quickly.
On the occasion, Dr. Sher Mehrani presented the minister with a performance report and a set of published books. Culture Department Director Zulfiqar Panwhar and other officials were also present during the meeting.
