Sukkur: A delegation of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Sukkur, led by central leader Allama Noor Ahmed Qasmi, met Sindh Government Spokesperson and Sukkur Mayor Barrister Arslan Islam Sheikh at Sukkur House to discuss arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ and Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.
The delegation appreciated the administration’s efforts and requested further improvements in city decoration, cleanliness, lighting, security, and other public facilities for the upcoming events.
Barrister Arslan Islam Sheikh assured the delegation of full cooperation and directed the concerned departments to make all necessary arrangements.
Speaking on the occasion, Allama Noor Ahmed Qasmi said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ reflects love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, while Independence Day promotes national unity, patriotism, and solidarity. He added that Pakistan Sunni Tehreek will organize Milad gatherings, rallies, and other religious and national events across Sindh, including Sukkur.
Mayor Barrister Arslan Islam Sheikh said that the Sukkur Municipal Corporation is using all available resources to ensure peaceful and well-organized celebrations. He also praised the role of religious scholars and community leaders in promoting peace, harmony, and social unity.
The meeting was also attended by Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Sukkur President Muhammad Rizwan Qadri, Abdul Samad Qadri, Qari Muhammad Qasim Saeedi, Ghulam Moeed Qureshi, Hafiz Nazeer Ahmed Qasmi, and other party leaders.
