Hyderabad, August 2, 2026: Acting on the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharijo and SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, Hyderabad Police continues its crackdown on criminals, narcotics traffickers, gutka and mainpuri suppliers, and other individuals involved in social crimes.
In a successful operation carried out by Baldia Police Station, under the supervision of SDPO Baldia Zahoor Ahmed Soomro, SHO Sub-Inspector Muzaffar Khaldi and his team acted on credible intelligence and arrested a gutka supplier identified as Azhar alias Mulla.
During the raid, police recovered 15 packets of gutka containing approximately 1,500 sachets from the suspect’s possession.
A case has been registered against the accused under Crime No. 134/2026 under Section 8 of the Gutka and Mainpuri Act, and further legal proceedings are underway.
