SOBHODERO: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate for PS-30, Barrister Asfandyar Kharl, and Senator Pir Syed Kazim Ali Shah Lakyari were warmly received during a visit to Bhagat House in Village Muhammad Suleman Bhagat, near Sagyoon.
The guests were welcomed by local hosts and community members, where Sarai Deedar Hussain Bhagat hosted a reception in their honour.
During the ceremony, traditional Sindhi cultural gifts were presented to the distinguished guests. Senator Pir Syed Kazim Ali Shah Lakyari was presented with a Boski turban, while journalist Ulfat Ali Bhagat presented a Boski turban to Barrister Asfandyar Kharl.
Other participants also presented Ajraks to several guests, including Mir Ghulam Abbas Talpur, Syed Farzand Ali Shah Gilani, PPP Sobhodero Taluka President Gada Hussain Sahito, Syed Hasnain Shah Lakyari, Zulfiqar Ali Mangi, and Syed Suhail Ahmed Shah, as a gesture of Sindhi hospitality and respect.
A traditional reception was also arranged in honour of the visiting leaders.
During the gathering, participants exchanged views on regional development, public welfare, education, youth empowerment, and local civic issues. The speakers emphasized the importance of collective efforts to address the needs of the area and promote sustainable development.
The event was attended by political and social figures, elders, and representatives of several communities, including the Bhagat, Soomro, Daya, Khaskheli, Syed, Mashori, Haryah, Khokhar, Langah, and Jatoi communities, as well as individuals from various professional backgrounds.
