SUKKUR, August 4: In connection with Police Martyrs’ Day, the in-charge of Launch Mor Police Check Post, Lala Mumtaz, along with police personnel, visited the grave of Martyred Inspector Abdul Malik Kamangar to pay tribute to his sacrifice.
The martyr’s family was also present during the ceremony. Police officials offered Fateha for the departed soul, laid a floral wreath on the grave, and a smartly turned-out police contingent presented a ceremonial salute in honor of the fallen officer.
Speaking on the occasion, Lala Mumtaz met with the martyr’s family and said that the sacrifices made by police martyrs are a priceless national asset.
He stated that the brave officers laid down their lives to maintain law and order and protect the public, adding that their courage and dedication would always be remembered with the highest respect and honor.
Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and prosperity, as well as for the elevated status of the police martyrs and patience and strength for their families.
Participants reaffirmed their commitment to commemorating Police Martyrs’ Day on August 4 with great respect and dignity, emphasizing that the unparalleled sacrifices and services of police martyrs will continue to inspire future generations and will always be remembered with gratitude.
