The Skill Expo 2025 Sukkur, organized by the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA), drew thousands of visitors as students from across Sindh presented their innovative technical projects, models, and vocational skills. The event highlighted the province’s growing focus on technical education, youth capacity building, and employment-oriented skill development.
Held in Sukkur, the expo featured around 25 stalls set up by STEVTA-affiliated institutions, each showcasing a wide range of student-made projects. The atmosphere remained vibrant throughout the day, attracting students, teachers, parents, industry professionals, and the general public, all eager to witness the emerging talent being trained under Sindh’s vocational and technical education programs.
Participation of BBSHRRDB
One of the notable participants was the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Human Resource Development Board (BBSHRRDB), which set up a dedicated stall to provide information about various training courses offered under the board’s youth skill development programs.
Dr. Khan Zangejo, the District Monitoring Coordinator for Sukkur, remained present throughout the program to personally brief visitors. He explained course structures, training durations, admission procedures, and the board’s efforts to help young people secure better employment opportunities.
Parents and youth appreciated the detailed guidance, noting that such expos make it easier to understand training options that can translate into practical job skills.
Competitions and Awards
The expo also included skill-based competitions among students from different technical fields. These contests covered areas such as mechanical technology, electrical work, information technology, civil engineering, and design.
Winners were awarded cash prizes in acknowledgment of their talent, creativity, and hard work. Visit of STEVTA Managing Director Tariq Manzoor Chandio
STEVTA Managing Director Tariq Manzoor Chandio visited the stalls, including the Benazir Youth Development Program stall managed by Dr. Khan Zangejo. During the visit, he and his accompanying team were presented with traditional Ajraks, symbolizing Sindh’s culture and hospitality.
Speaking to media representatives, Tariq Manzoor Chandio highlighted the remarkable successes of the Benazir Youth Development Program, stating:

Chandio also appreciated the creativity and dedication shown by the students participating in the expo, noting that their projects reflect the potential required to contribute to Sindh’s growing technical sector.
Presence of Regional Director STEVTA Sukkur
The event was also attended by Ghulam Asghar Sohaag, Regional Director STEVTA Sukkur Region. His presence was warmly acknowledged by organizers, faculty members, and students. Sohaag praised the efforts of the participating institutes and encouraged them to maintain high standards in teaching, hands-on training, and skill development.
He stated that such expos motivate both students and trainers to pursue excellence and stay updated with evolving industrial needs.
