DADU: A woman lost her life in a tragic road accident on the Indus Highway within the jurisdiction of Khudabad Police Station, near Dadu, after her veil became entangled in the wheel of a motorcycle she was riding on.

According to police, the woman was travelling with her son from Dadu to Bhan Syedabad when her burqa (veil) became caught in the motorcycle’s wheel during the journey. The incident caused fatal injuries, and she died at the scene.

The deceased was identified as Nusrat Joyo.

Her son, Yaseen Joyo, told authorities that they were on their way to visit relatives in Bhan Syedabad when the veil suddenly became entangled in the motorcycle wheel, resulting in the tragic accident.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Khudabad Police reached the scene, took the body into custody, and shifted it to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Dadu, after completing the necessary legal formalities.

Following the completion of medico-legal procedures, the body was handed over to the family. Relatives later transported it to their residence in Pir Mohalla, Dadu, for funeral arrangements.

The woman’s death cast a pall of grief over the neighborhood, with family members and relatives deeply mourning the sudden loss. Residents expressed sorrow over the tragic incident, which also highlights the importance of observing safety precautions while travelling on motorcycles, particularly when wearing loose clothing that could become entangled in moving parts.
