WARAH: An elderly couple from Warah protested at the press club, alleging harassment, assault, and threats by influential individuals and demanding protection and justice.
According to the couple, Shah Murad Tanyo and his wife Siyani Tanyo, residents of Ahmedi Tanyo locality in Warah, alleged that their house entrance was forcibly blocked and they were attacked by Ameen Tanyo, police official Parvez Tanyo, Sarfraz Tanyo, and Amir Tanyo.
The couple said they have been living in the house for the past 30 years and have no children, adding that they live alone and their vulnerable situation is being misused by relatives who allegedly want to harm them.
They appealed to the IG Sindh, DIG Larkana, PPP MPA Nawab Sardar Khan Chandio, PPP MPA Nawabzada Burhan Khan Chandio, and other authorities to take notice of the matter, protect them from alleged harassment, and provide justice.
The couple further stated that if any harm comes to them, the above-mentioned individuals would be responsible.
