Matiari: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi visited Matiari district, where he met local residents, community elders, political figures, and social representatives, listened to their concerns, and assured them of his full support in addressing public issues.
During the visit, the governor travelled to Bha Noto, where he visited the residence of Shah Zaman Shah. He was warmly welcomed by local residents, who presented him with the traditional Ajrak and Sindhi cap as symbols of Sindh’s cultural heritage.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Hashmi highlighted the teachings of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, describing them as a message of love, brotherhood, tolerance, compassion, and service to humanity.
He said that the teachings of Sufi saints promote peace, unity, and mutual respect, adding that success in both worldly life and faith lies in patience, honesty, public service, and adherence to principles.
Later, the governor visited New Saeedabad, where he offered condolences to Rao Aslam over the passing of his wife. He offered prayers for the deceased and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
The governor subsequently visited Masha Allah House in Hala, where he was welcomed by local residents, community leaders, and Naseer Memon.
Addressing the media, Governor Hashmi said a strong and prosperous society can only be built through tolerance, mutual respect, adherence to the rule of law, and social harmony.
He also praised former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, stating that his tenure saw the development of major infrastructure projects, including motorways, grid stations, airports, and other large-scale public works.
The governor said young political leaders should learn from Nawaz Sharif’s example of remaining committed to principles while serving the public.
Reaffirming his vision for the country, Governor Hashmi said that Pakistan’s progress depends on honest leadership, public service, and giving priority to the national interest.
