Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan declined on the latest trading day, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs1,000 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).
Following the decrease, the price of one tola of gold now stands at Rs426,436.
The association also reported a decline in the price of 10 grams of gold, which fell by Rs857 to Rs365,600.
In the international market, the price of gold also moved lower, dropping by US$10 per ounce to US$4,040 per ounce.
Gold prices in Pakistan generally fluctuate in line with trends in the international bullion market as well as movements in the exchange rate. Traders continue to monitor global economic developments, central bank policies, and investor demand, all of which influence precious metal prices.
