Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and humid weather in Karachi over the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy skies and a slight possibility of light drizzle in some areas.
According to the Met Office, the city’s weather is expected to remain warm, humid, and partly cloudy throughout the forecast period.
The minimum temperature recorded in Karachi was 28.5°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C during the day.
Humidity remains high, with 78% moisture recorded in the air, contributing to muggy conditions across the city. Meanwhile, sea breezes are continuing to blow at a speed of 18 kilometres per hour, providing some relief from the heat.
The Meteorological Department also stated that light drizzle is possible at isolated locations in Karachi during the next 24 hours, although no significant rainfall is currently expected.
Residents have been advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, and follow updates issued by the weather authorities, especially as the monsoon season continues across parts of Pakistan.
Weather officials continue to monitor atmospheric conditions and will issue further advisories if there are any significant changes in the forecast.
