Hyderabad A special ceremony was held at Government Boys Primary School Haji Muhammad Ismail Lako to honor students who achieved top positions in the school’s monthly academic test. The event recognized the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers, highlighting the importance of education as the foundation of national progress.
The ceremony was attended by UC-58 Chairman Haji Ghulam Ali Gopang, former Vice Chairman and social leader Haji Muhammad Sultan Lako, who distributed shields and certificates among the position-holding students as a token of appreciation for their achievements.
Speaking on the occasion, the guests emphasized that education is the key to national development and that children are the future of the nation. They underscored the shared responsibility of parents, teachers, and the community to ensure the best possible education and moral upbringing for the younger generation.
Chairman Haji Ghulam Ali Gopang lauded the teachers for their dedication, saying that teachers are the lamps of knowledge who illuminate the paths of success for the youth through their tireless efforts. He noted that because of teachers’ hard work, students were excelling academically and achieving distinguished results.
He further assured that efforts will continue to improve the educational facilities in all schools within the union council, adding that education remains a top priority for local authorities.
Former Vice Chairman Haji Muhammad Sultan Lako also praised the provincial government for its initiatives under the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) leadership. He said that the Sindh government has taken significant steps to improve the education sector — including the construction of new schools, renovation of old buildings, and recruitment of new teachers to enhance the quality of education across the province.
