SAN FRANCISCO: Meta has introduced a new feature for WhatsApp Web and the WhatsApp Windows app that will allow users to view PDF documents without downloading them first.
The company announced that it has integrated Adobe Acrobat support into the desktop versions of WhatsApp, making it easier to access PDF files directly within the application.
With the new feature, users on laptops and desktop computers will be able to open and read PDF documents instantly, eliminating the need to save the files to their devices before viewing them.
Until now, WhatsApp users receiving a PDF file on the web or Windows app had to download the document first before it could be opened.
The addition of Adobe Acrobat support streamlines the process, offering a faster and more convenient document-viewing experience, particularly for users who frequently exchange reports, invoices, forms, and other PDF files through the messaging platform.
