LAHORE: Pakistan will tour England in May 2027 to play a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series, with the fixtures serving as key preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.
According to the schedule, the series will be played from May 15 to May 26, 2027, across five venues in England.
The first ODI will be held in Southampton on May 15, followed by the second match in Manchester on May 19.
The third ODI is scheduled for May 21 in Leeds, while the fourth match will take place on May 23 in Chester-le-Street.
The fifth and final ODI of the series will be played in Cardiff on May 26.
The five-match series is expected to provide both Pakistan and England with valuable preparation ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, which is scheduled to be held from October 4 to November 21, 2027, across South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
According to the current ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, Pakistan are ranked fifth, while England occupy seventh place.
Pakistan last toured England for an ODI series in 2021, when the two teams contested a three-match ODI series.
The 2027 series is expected to offer both sides an important opportunity to fine-tune their squads and strategies ahead of the global tournament, with matches to be played at some of England’s leading international cricket venues.
