QUETTA: The Balochistan Home Department has imposed an indefinite curfew in Khad Kocha, a sub-tehsil of Mastung district, citing the prevailing law and order situation.
According to the official notification, the curfew will remain in force until further orders as part of security measures aimed at maintaining peace and preventing any deterioration in the security environment.
Balochistan’s Assistant Minister for Home Affairs, Babar Yousafzai, said that residents will not be allowed to leave their homes during the curfew period.
He urged citizens to fully cooperate with the district administration and law enforcement agencies by complying with all official directives issued in the interest of public safety and maintaining law and order.
Babar Yousafzai emphasized that the restrictions had been introduced as a precautionary measure in view of the security situation and appealed to the public to avoid unnecessary movement until the curfew is lifted.
He further warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating the curfew orders, in accordance with the law.
Authorities have not yet announced how long the restrictions will remain in place, stating only that the curfew will continue until further notice. Residents have been advised to stay indoors and follow updates issued by the local administration and security authorities.
