KARACHI: Police have submitted a supplementary charge sheet before a Karachi court against alleged drug dealer Anmol alias “Pinky”, who is facing charges in a narcotics smuggling case registered in 2018.
The case was heard by the Additional District and Sessions Judge (South).
During the proceedings, police informed the court that Pinky had remained a proclaimed absconder since 2018. Investigators later discovered that she was already in custody in connection with a murder case registered at Baghdadi Police Station, after which they obtained the court’s permission to interrogate her in jail.
According to the supplementary charge sheet, the accused allegedly confessed during interrogation that she operated and headed a narcotics distribution network.
Police stated that Pinky told investigators that in 2018, three associates—Maysar Ali, Nasir Ali, and Ainullah—were transporting narcotics when they were arrested by police in the Akhtar Colony area.
The charge sheet further revealed that Pinky’s brother, who was also an accused in the case, was acquitted by the court on February 26, 2026.
Investigators also informed the court that a review of the accused’s criminal record showed she has been nominated in 21 cases registered at various police stations.
Police added that two co-accused, Maysar Ali and Ainullah, remain absconders.
The narcotics recovery case was originally registered by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in 2018, and further legal proceedings are underway.
