Sukkur Assistant Commissioner Sukkur City, Sobia Falak Rao, continued her efforts to strengthen the anti-polio campaign by delivering a morning awareness briefing to polio workers for the second consecutive day. During the session, she obtained detailed reports from area in-charges and field teams regarding their previous day’s performance.
The Assistant Commissioner instructed all teams to complete their field activities on time and ensure that all designated targets are achieved with 100% coverage. She directed that any information related to new polio cases be shared immediately with the district administration to ensure a swift response and containment of potential outbreaks.
During the campaign review, the Area In-Charge of UC Gaye Shah Fatimah Zahra Dispensary was particularly noted for her excellent monitoring and team management. She has been continuously present in the field, providing on-site guidance, evaluating progress, and maintaining an effective check-and-balance mechanism to ensure smooth operations.
Under her supervision, the polio teams have shown remarkable performance, demonstrating dedication and precision in their work. Assistant Commissioner Sobia Falak Rao appreciated their efforts, commending the teams for their commitment, discipline, and proactive field presence.
She reiterated that the complete eradication of polio is a shared responsibility and stressed that every team member must play their part diligently. Rao highlighted the importance of community cooperation and urged local residents to fully support vaccination teams by ensuring that all children under the age of five receive the life-saving polio drops.
