ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Spain on winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup, praising the team’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), the prime minister commended Spain for displaying exceptional football and highlighted the unifying spirit of the global sporting event.

Prime Minister Shehbaz said he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Spanish national team on their World Cup triumph.
He praised the team’s performance, stating that Spain demonstrated:

The prime minister also congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people for successfully hosting the historic tournament.
