UDEROLAL: Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Makhdoom Mohsin has criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)-led government in Sindh, alleging that it represents feudal rule and does not reflect the public mandate.
Speaking to a delegation of the Awami Press Club Uderolal, Makhdoom Mohsin said that although members of the Makhdoom family have continued to win elections in Matiari district, the district remains underdeveloped.
He announced that PTI would launch a series of political gatherings in Matiari district from August 15, beginning in Bhit Shah. He said the objective of the campaign is to mobilize and raise political awareness among the people across the district so they can better understand and demand their rights.
Makhdoom Mohsin alleged that the PPP does not want a government formed through the genuine will of the people in Sindh. He also claimed that the current provincial government is a “product of Form 47.”
The PTI leader further asserted that if transparent elections were held in Pakistan today, PTI would secure a sweeping victory. He added that former Prime Minister Imran Khan remains a popular public leader who, according to him, has neither been forced to bow under pressure nor will he be in the future, stating that Imran Khan’s political struggle is closely linked with the people.
