KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that dialogue is the only solution to Balochistan’s political issues, emphasizing the need for engagement with all political stakeholders.

Bilawal made the remarks during a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti at Zardari House, where the chief minister briefed him on the province’s political, administrative, and security situation.

According to the briefing, Sarfraz Bugti discussed the recent security situation in Balochistan and said the provincial government had worked to support the families affected by the Ziarat incident, address their demands, and establish a judicial commission to investigate the tragedy.

The chief minister also informed Bilawal that an All Parties Conference (APC) would soon be convened in Balochistan, with invitations extended to both parliamentary and non-parliamentary political parties.

Bilawal Bhutto paid tribute to the personnel of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and police who lost their lives in the line of duty.

He also expressed sympathy for the families of those killed in the recent incidents, saying he could understand their grief and appreciated the chief minister’s efforts to support the affected families and advance dialogue.

Reiterating his party’s position, Bilawal said political dialogue should include parties regardless of whether they are in government or in the opposition, adding that Pakistan must remain united in the fight against terrorism.
