SWAT: A glacier collapse in the Matiltan area of Kalam trapped seven people, prompting an emergency rescue operation, officials said.
According to Rescue authorities, the incident occurred when a glacier broke apart, leaving seven individuals caught beneath or affected by the collapse.
Rescue teams were dispatched immediately after receiving the report and successfully rescued six people from the site.
Officials said three of the rescued individuals sustained injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
One person remains missing, and rescue teams are continuing search operations to locate the individual.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved or disclosed the circumstances that led to the glacier collapse. Rescue efforts are ongoing as emergency personnel continue to search the affected area.
