ISLAMABAD: The United States has awarded Fulbright scholarships to 85 Pakistani students and researchers for higher education and academic exchange programs.
According to the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), this year’s awards include 71 master’s scholarships, 14 PhD scholarships, and six Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) fellowships.
The selected Pakistani scholars will pursue master’s and doctoral studies at universities across the United States.
The Fulbright Program is jointly funded and administered by the governments of Pakistan and the United States, promoting academic excellence and educational exchange between the two countries.
Since 2005, around 3,000 Pakistani students have benefited from Fulbright scholarships under the program.
