MUZAFFARABAD: A vehicle accompanying the security convoy of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Faisal Rathore plunged into a ravine near Chhanjal in Haveli Kahuta, leaving one police officer dead and four others injured.
According to the Prime Minister’s spokesperson, the accident occurred while the convoy was returning from Khurshidabad.
One police officer lost his life in the crash, while four others sustained injuries. The injured personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The spokesperson confirmed that the vehicle involved was part of the Prime Minister’s security squad. Further details about the cause of the accident have not yet been released.
