DADU: A resident of Haji Allah Datto Dudani Jamali village near Dadu has alleged that his three-acre agricultural land has been illegally occupied and has appealed to senior authorities to ensure justice and provide protection for his family.

Speaking at a press conference at the PCU Press Club Dadu, Imdad Ali Jamali claimed that his brother, Ashfaq Ali Jamali, along with armed associates, had forcibly occupied the land and was preventing him and his family from accessing their own property.

Imdad Ali said the alleged occupation had left his family living under constant fear and psychological stress.

He also rejected allegations made by his brother during an earlier press conference, in which Ashfaq Ali claimed he had been denied his rightful share of the property.

Calling the accusations “false and baseless,” Imdad Ali maintained that the disputed land is not ancestral or inherited property, but was jointly purchased by him and his brothers, Ayub Ali Jamali and Zulfiqar Ali Jamali, using their personal funds.

He said all legal ownership documents and land records are available and asserted that Ashfaq Ali has no legal ownership or share in the property.

Imdad Ali further alleged that his brother is addicted to drugs and has repeatedly issued death threats while under the influence. He claimed that armed men accompanying the accused have been intimidating the family and threatening them with serious harm.

As a result, he said, his entire family has been forced to live in fear.

Expressing confidence in the legal system, Imdad Ali said he wanted the dispute to be resolved strictly in accordance with the law. However, he warned that if the authorities failed to take timely action, there was a risk of an untoward incident.

At the conclusion of the press conference, he appealed to the Chief Minister of Sindh, the Inspector General of Sindh Police, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dadu, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dadu, and other relevant authorities to take immediate notice of the matter.

He requested an impartial investigation, the removal of the alleged illegal occupation, legal action against those responsible if any wrongdoing is established, protection for his family, and measures to safeguard what he described as their legally owned property.

The allegations made during the press conference represent the claims of Imdad Ali Jamali. No response from the individuals named in the allegations was immediately available.
