KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast strong winds and the possibility of light drizzle in parts of Karachi over the next 24 hours.

According to the Met Office, the city is expected to remain partly cloudy and humid, with gusty sea breezes likely to prevail throughout the day. Isolated areas may also receive light drizzle, although no widespread rainfall has been predicted.

The department said the maximum temperature during the next 24 hours is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature recorded during the previous 24 hours was 28.5°C.

Meteorologists reported that the humidity level in the city stood at 78 percent, contributing to muggy weather conditions despite the moderating effect of sea winds.

Sea breezes were blowing at a speed of approximately 18 kilometers per hour, helping to keep daytime temperatures from rising further.

The PMD advised residents to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts, as local weather conditions, particularly drizzle and wind intensity, may vary across different parts of the city.
