The Sindh Assembly (SA) on Sunday offered prayers for the salvation of sthe soulsof three Pakistan Rangers’ personnel who sacrificed their lives while fighting against three India-sponsored militants in Karachi earlier in the morning,
Speaking during the session, which got underway with Panel Chairperson Rehana Laghari in the chair, PPP leader Qaim Ali Shah said that provinces needed their shares under the NFC Award.
He said it was difficult to announce a balanced budget in a difficult situation.
He claimed that the PPP government’s performance had been better than other provincial governments.
Later, Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Ali Khurshidi said that the amounts earmarked for Sindh were being spent on other provinces.
He asked the PPP to lead over the issue of Indus River System Authority (IRSA), and the MQM-P would support it.
He was of the view that until and unless powers would be devolved, issues would not be resolved.
Today is the sixth day of debate in the assembly on the provincial budget for the next financial year.
