Rs153.3 Million Allocated for Prime Minister’s Office Renovation in Federal Budget

Islamabad: The federal government has allocated Rs153.3 million (15.33 crore rupees) in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget for the renovation and refurbishment of the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to the budget documents, Rs53 million (5.3 crore rupees) have also been earmarked for the construction of 12 apartments in the Ministers’ Enclave in Islamabad.

In addition, the government has allocated Rs80 million (8 crore rupees) for the renovation of the Prime Minister’s Staff Colony and the provision of additional facilities.

The budget documents state that expenditures on the staff colony project are estimated to reach Rs189.7 million (18.97 crore rupees) by June 30, 2026, while the total estimated cost of the project is Rs343.1 million (34.31 crore rupees).

These allocations are part of the federal government’s development and infrastructure spending plans for the next financial year.
