Sanghar (Report: Ghulam Rasool Narejo) – Specialist gynecologist Dr. Maryam Ammar Chaudhry continues to provide medical services to pregnant women at Taluka Hospital Sinjhoro, ensuring free and quality healthcare for patients without any discrimination.
According to hospital sources, a successful delivery operation was conducted today by Dr. Maryam Ammar Chaudhry, which saved thousands of rupees for a poor family. The patient received timely and professional medical care, resulting in a safe and successful childbirth.
On the occasion, Taluka Health Officer Sinjhoro, Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Chhena, stated that the hospital team’s coordinated efforts are ensuring free treatment facilities for all incoming patients. He added that pregnant women are being provided continuous medical guidance and care from the early stages of pregnancy until delivery under the supervision of Dr. Maryam Ammar Chaudhry.
He further said that, under the special directives of Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, free healthcare services are being provided to all citizens as per government policy. He emphasized that the objective is to ensure accessible and quality healthcare for every individual, especially in rural areas.
Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Chhena also highlighted that facilities such as laboratory services, a tuberculosis (TB) ward, and other essential medical units are fully functional at the Taluka Hospital without interruption. These services are significantly benefiting the local population of Sinjhoro and surrounding areas by reducing their financial burden and providing timely treatment.
He further added that malnourished pregnant women and newborn children are also being treated through the Benazir Nashonuma Center, where they receive specialized nutritional and medical support to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
