Sukkur – The “Marka-e-Haq Snooker Championship 2026” was successfully held at the New Red & White Snooker Club Sukkur, featuring exciting and competitive matches that attracted a large number of sports enthusiasts.
The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Haji Muhammad Javed Memon, President Small Traders Sukkur, while the event was presided over by Dr. Saeed Awan, Deputy Chief Warden Civil Defence Sukkur. The championship was organized by Lala Imran Mirani.
After a series of thrilling contests, Syed Saad Gillani secured first position and was declared the champion of the tournament, while Syed Manzar Hussain Shah achieved second position.
At the conclusion of the event, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held to celebrate the success of the “Marka-e-Haq” championship. The event reflected enthusiasm and a strong interest in sports among the youth.
Addressing the ceremony, chief guest Haji Muhammad Javed Memon expressed pride in the armed forces of Pakistan, stating that they have made immense sacrifices for the country’s defense and security. He said that under the leadership of Field Marshal General Asim Munir, significant achievements have been made in ensuring national security and combating terrorism effectively.
He further encouraged the youth to actively participate in positive activities, especially sports, to promote a healthy society and constructive engagement. He emphasized that sports not only improve physical health but also play a vital role in character building and discipline.
At the end of the ceremony, the guests distributed trophies, shields, and cash prizes among the winning players. Participants appreciated the successful organization of the championship and congratulated organizer Lala Imran Mirani and his team for conducting a well-managed and entertaining sporting event.
