Pakistan’s Under-18 hockey team has qualified for the semi-finals of the U-18 Asia Cup after defeating Bangladesh.

In the Pool B final match of the tournament being played in Japan, Pakistan secured a 5–2 victory over Bangladesh.

Pakistan took an early lead in the 3rd minute through Abdullah, while Mona Islam equalized for Bangladesh in the 12th minute.

The second quarter saw no goals from either side. In the third quarter, Adeel scored Pakistan’s second goal, but Bangladesh quickly leveled the match again.

In the 39th minute, Pakistan were awarded a penalty stroke, which Haider Ahsam successfully converted. Later, Abdullah Awan and Muhammad Yahya scored field goals to seal a convincing win for Pakistan.
