Eight journalists were injured when ceiling panels suddenly fell during a meeting at the Dadu Press Club, causing panic among those present.
According to the details, the injured journalists were immediately taken to the emergency department of the DHQ Old Hospital, where they were given medical treatment.
The injured were identified as Abdul Sattar Sheikh, Ali Gul Channa, Nadeem Shahani, Shaukat Mallah, Shiraz Sheikh, Muharram Sheeno, Sajjad Solangi and Didar Sheikh.
Abdul Sattar Sheikh, Nadeem Shahani and Ali Gul Channa were in a critical condition. They were receiving treatment at the hospital’s emergency department.
The sudden collapse caused a rush among journalists inside the conference hall as people tried to move to safety.
