BADIN (Durr Mahfooz Shah): A dignified ceremony was held at FES Path High School Badin, operated by the Sindh Education Foundation with the support of the Government of Sindh, to commemorate Defence Day of Pakistan. Students and teachers participated enthusiastically in the event.
Students delivered speeches, performed national songs and presented various programmes to pay tribute to the Pakistan Army and the martyrs. Slogans including “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Pak Army Zindabad” and “Nara-e-Takbeer” were also raised.
Addressing the ceremony, school principal Muhammad Ali Buleedi said Defence Day reminds the nation of the sacrifices made by its martyrs and Ghazis. He said students are the future of the country and should receive not only quality education but also an understanding of patriotism and national responsibilities.
Teachers including Ghulam Mustafa Khoso, Sain Muhammad Juman Khoso, Waqar Ahmed Bukhari, Ali Sher Jat and Abdul Khaliq were also present.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the security, peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
