Sanghar (Report: Ghulam Rasool Narejo): A dignified ceremony was organized at Sanghar Azad Kyokushin Karate Academy on September 6 to mark Defence Day of Pakistan. Academy head Shihan Liaquat Azad and his team participated in the event.
During the ceremony, children were briefed about the courage, sacrifices and determination of the Pakistan Army and the importance of defending the country. Students also gave impressive demonstrations of various karate skills, receiving appreciation from the participants.
A belt ceremony was also held on the occasion. Students who had successfully completed different stages of their training and demonstrated satisfactory performance were awarded new belts.
Medals and certificates were distributed among students who showed outstanding performance. The awards created an atmosphere of excitement and happiness among the children.
Speaking on the occasion, Shihan Liaquat Azad said that martial arts are an excellent way to develop discipline, self-confidence, endurance and physical fitness among young people. He said the purpose of encouraging children is to provide them with greater opportunities to excel in sports and develop their abilities.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the security and prosperity of Pakistan, the martyrs of the armed forces, and the peace and stability of the country.
