ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support for the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
The condemnation came after Yemen’s Houthi group, Ansar Allah, carried out attacks targeting several Saudi cities, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jazan. According to reports, civilian and economic installations were targeted during the attacks, resulting in injuries to 73 people, including women and children.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep concern over the attacks and said that targeting civilian areas and vital infrastructure was unacceptable.
